"GPS takes now the direction of irish lands...
Angel Pier, that's the band's name.
“Bullet Holes & Broken Sectors” that's the EP title...
I confess to listening to them for the first time yesterday with no expectations. I promised a friend of mine I'd make the time to listen to them. The initial lack of expectation turned gradually into a cool sensation that I was hearing great music, where the guitars chime along with the pleasing vocals and the sometimes predictable chord changes bring us to the conclusion that they are a Dublin band with a unique personality that is worth discovering.
A rock indie style that remind us in parts of the Stone Roses & The Pixies. It attracts without fascinating but surely at the level that bands mushroom the only difference is in the marketing, and Angel Pier are so close. I'll be keeping a close eye on them.
"Some of you guys remember that, some time ago, i wrote about an irish band called Angel Pier that, in that time, surprised me positively and every time i hear them more pleased i get.
Meanwhile, I've been in touch with Darragh Nolan (vocals and guitar) and i'm glad to start feeling that this band is starting to get well known and achieve the sucess...
As i promised to you, Darragh, here i post some themes of the new Bullet Holes & Broken Sectors".
Well done...
